Back from a great music festival in the Robin Hood County of Nottinghamshire- the Gateway To Southwell Festival.
Thanks to all those who sang along to my songs on the Barleycorn Stage. With the capable Malcom Slater on the sound, it was perfect.
It was nice to catch up with Mark Jolly the brilliant fiddle player from my old band JOHNNY STEINBERG AND THE BLUE FISH. He has joined a new band BANTER ; playing fiddle and bass guitar ( not at the same time, although their drummer Tim Walker plays drums and trumpet at the same time ! They blew the place away on the Main Stage with their music and .........banter ! Check them out.
Next Festival gig for me is Belper Festival in Derbyshire on Saturday 12th July ( see their web page)
